In 2004, she started the PWBS business with other 2 ladies as one of the divisions of K.K. Technos (Hirakata City, Osaka), whose core business is Transportation/Installation of Heavy Machinery.
The defect such as peeling of part drawing (alphabet & sign) on the PWB (the brain of Mobile phone, Digital Camera etc) and Solder Mask (Insulation Ink), and adherence of foreign material and so on, becomes Defective Product, which are abandoned.
“If we fix those parts, the product becomes Conforming Product,” Ms. Kimura said. That is Micro sized work so that they do with special ink brush & cutter using microscope and magnifier. It is a very laborious job. All 11 staffs are lady. The job requires good eyes, so that the staffs are all young ladies in age of 17 to 37 years old. They fix the defective part of solder mask and harden it by UV kiln. Even if the inspection machine classifies the product as Defect, the defective product can be judged as Good by the human eye’s re-inspection.
Besides, they do the analysis of foreign materials that adheres to the PWB, and with Ms. Kimura’s unique ideas, she designs convenient & human friendly goods such as useful special carriage and original items made of plastic and SUS material, which are widely used in the job site.
